The wines of Etna have gained more and more popularity in recent years, light boned reds reminiscent of Pinot Noir and rich, powerful whites, and some highly elegant Rose. 

Pietro Caciorgna is right up there, and I think this entry level 'Ciauria' punches well above its weight. Juicy red sun kissed fruit, light bones but enough power to handle anything really. Great now we're in game season, perfect with roasted game birds but also really REALLY good with smoked meats.
